Scheduling, downloads and results
Choosing when a video goes out, editing and downloading it, and seeing results.
Can I choose when a video goes out?#
Yes. Publishing runs in three steps: Select platforms, then Content details, then Schedule.
At the Schedule step you either leave it on Auto-schedule (recommended), where the time is picked for you, or choose Post ASAP, which sends it in about five minutes.
If you close the publishing window partway through, it asks "Leave without posting?" with two buttons: Continue setup returns you to where you were, and Discard and exit closes the flow.
Can I change the time of a post after it has been scheduled?#
No. There is no way to move a scheduled post to a different time. What you can do with a scheduled post, under My posts, is cancel it with Cancel posting or change its caption with Edit caption.
Where do I see what is scheduled or published?#
Under My posts, with thumbnails, date and time, platform, status and a preview. You can cancel a scheduled post from there with Cancel posting, or change its caption with Edit caption.
Can I edit a video after it is generated?#
Not the video itself. The text burned into it, the image, the background and who appears on screen are all fixed once a video is generated.
The caption is the exception: it is the text that goes out with the post and you can edit it until the post goes out, at the Content details step and, once the post is scheduled, with Edit caption under My posts. What gets built next is set in Post settings. If the imagery does not suit your product, pick the photos and videos you like from our library: in Background images and videos, the first section there, press Add photos and videos, search, pick, then Add to library. Your own photos and clips go in next to it through Browse files here. Then set the scale under the tiles to Mostly mine or Only mine, use Format mix to set how many videos come as Green screen or Hook demo videos, and press Regenerate videos to rebuild the videos already in your deck.
That is about a video that already exists. What appears in the videos made from now on is set in Post settings, under Videos.
How do I download a video you made for me, extract it, or save it to my phone?#
Yes. The control is on the card itself, in your Videos deck.
- Open Videos in the sidebar and find the card you want. The download icon is the round button in the top right corner of the card, opposite the mute button in the top left. The same icon sits on cards in the Archive, and in the preview of a post you have already published under My posts, so you can get a file back after the fact.
- Press it. A window called Post manually opens.
- Step 1 is Download the file. Press Download under it and the file saves to your device.
- Step 2 is Copy the caption. The caption sits in an editable box with a character counter that runs to 2200 and a Copy caption button under it, and that is the text to paste under your post when you publish it.
- At the bottom, Close leaves the card in your deck. Done moves the post to My posts.
Worth knowing before you press Done: downloading sits inside the flow for publishing a post yourself, so finishing it with Done takes the card out of the deck and files it under My posts. If a post disappeared from your deck after you used the download button, that is where to look for it.

If you cannot find the download icon on a particular card, or you need the file again, tell us in this chat which post it is and we will look at it.
Where do I see how my published videos and posts performed?#
On the platform itself. There is no analytics for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube or X inside HeyCatch: no views, likes, comments, shares, reach or saves, for any post.
What you get from us after a post publishes is its live link, on the post in My posts. Open it and the platform's own numbers are right there.
The analytics section of HeyCatch is about your own site, which is a different thing: who arrives, what they do and which channel brings signups and payments.
What post metrics do you show?#
None. There is no analytics for Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube or X. No views, likes, comments, shares, reach or saves, on any platform, for any post.
What you get after a video or post publishes is its live link. Open that and the platform's own app shows you its numbers.
Site analytics is a different thing and it does exist: the dashboard, the funnel and short links cover the people who reach your own site.
