Users and visitors

What a single visitor did, user status chips, and which post brought a customer.

Can I see what an individual visitor did?#

Yes. The users table lists the person, a short summary of them, their country, their status, how many sessions they have had and when they were last active, and you can search it by email, by id or by words from the summary. Where no email was collected you see an identifier instead of a name.

Open a user and you get their totals: sessions, total time, average session length, days active, the stage they are at now and their last activity, plus a short written description of how they have behaved and a list of their sessions with the device, the browser, the number of events and the number of pages.

Open a session and you get its Session timeline, with two views. Summary is a short list of what the person did, each line with a few words on what it meant. All events is every event in order, with its time to the second, its type, a click or a pageview, and the text of what was clicked or the page it happened on. The written descriptions are not live, and each one carries the time it was last refreshed.

What do the status chips on users mean?#

They group people by where they are: paid, trial, at risk, or engaged.

Can HeyCatch tell me which specific post brought a customer?#

No. Attribution is channel-level: short links and the SDK show which platform brings visits, signups and payments, not which individual reply or post did it.

The nearest real thing is a custom link. Under Analytics, Short links you can create a custom link with its own name and letter and use it in one post only, and everything that arrives through it is attributable to that post. It is manual and it works one post at a time, but nothing else ties a customer back to a single reply.
