Credits
How many credits you get, what costs credits, and when they reset or expire.
What are credits and how many do I get?#
Credits are the single meter for everything you pay for inside a project. Your plan grants them in one go at the start of each paid period: 300 on the 2-week plan, which is the intro plan and the trial, 300 on the 4-week plan, and 600 on the 8-week plan. There are no separate allowances any more: the same pool covers the AI chat, applying edits and re-running your audits, and you decide what to spend them on.
The balance is the number with the credit icon in the header of the app. Click it and you get the breakdown: how many of your plan's credits are left and the date of the next grant, how many sit in your wallet, and buttons for Buy credits and View history. The full picture is under Settings, then Credits: your wallet, the plan credits on each project with its own renewal date, and every transaction with the project it belonged to and whether it came from your plan or your wallet.
Plan credits belong to the project they arrived with. They live for that project's paid period, they do not roll over, and they are not pooled with your other projects. On an 8-week plan the 600 live for the whole 8 weeks, and nothing resets inside the period.
What costs credits and what is free?#
Every button that costs credits carries the price on itself, so nothing is spent by surprise.
What costs credits.
- An AI chat message, 1 credit, from the sixth message of the day.
- Apply changes, 30 credits. That is one application of your edits to Product brief, Audience and Competitors together, and it regenerates everything except the Website or Listing audit.
- Re-run Reddit account health, 15 credits.
- Re-run X account health, 15 credits.
- A re-run of Website optimization or Listing optimization, 40 credits. One run rebuilds the audit and the action plan on that page together. A re-run of the SEO audit is 40 credits as well.
- Adding the other side of your product to a project, an app listing to a project created from a website or a website to one created from a listing, 40 credits. That pays for its first audit and action plan.
- Get 10 more ideas in your video deck, 50 credits.
What is free.
- Your daily limits: catches, and 20 video swipes a day. They refill on their own, and catches cannot be bought with credits.
- Rendering a video when you approve it, and publishing.
- Regenerate videos in Post settings. It has its own allowance of 3 per 4-week window and no credit price.
- Marking a fix done with its Complete button inside the Reddit or X account audit.
- On the SEO page: the first audit, when you add your website there, and every Recheck and Recheck all fixes.
- Saving an edit. Only applying it costs anything.
- The first 5 AI chat messages every day.
I ran out of credits, what now?#
Nothing is ever charged automatically, so running out only means the paid buttons stop. In the chat the input is disabled and the screen shows the date your plan adds credits again, with a top-up button next to it. Elsewhere you get a Not enough credits message telling you what the action costs and what you have.
Two ways forward. Wait for the next period to start, when your plan grants credits again, and the date is in the credits popover in the header and under Settings, then Credits. Or buy a pack: 100 credits for $9.95, 300 for $24.95, or 1000 for $69.95, charged once to your saved card.
Your daily limits are not affected by any of this. Catches and video swipes refill the next day whatever your credit balance says.
Do credits expire?#
It depends which ones.
Plan credits expire. They arrive with a project in one grant at the start of each paid period, 300 on the 2-week and 4-week plans and 600 on the 8-week plan, live for that period, and are gone when it ends. They do not roll over and they cannot be moved to another project.
Credits you buy never expire. They go into a wallet on your account and stay there for as long as the account does.
When you spend, the project's plan credits go first and the wallet is used only after those run out, so the ones with a deadline are always used before the ones without.
Can I use credits in another project?#
Credits you bought, yes. They live in one wallet on your account and can be spent in any project with an active subscription.
Plan credits, no. Those arrive with one project's subscription and can only be spent there. Two projects means two subscriptions and two separate grants, each on its own renewal date, and they are never pooled.
Under Settings, then Credits, the wallet is shown on its own and the plan credits are listed per project with the date each one renews.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?#
Credits you bought stay in your wallet. They are not refunded automatically and they do not disappear: they wait until you have an active project again.
Plan credits do not survive. When a project's subscription lapses and the project turns read-only, the credits your plan gave it are frozen and then expire on their normal schedule. The wallet cannot be spent on a read-only project either, because the chat and every re-run need an active project to run in.
If you have another project still running, your wallet is available there as usual.
Why did my re-run counter disappear?#
It was retired when credits shipped. Until then, edits, site audit re-runs and account health re-runs each had a count of three per window, the buttons carried a remaining-uses count, and an exhausted state telling you when the window would reset. None of that exists any more.
Every one of those buttons now carries a price instead, and they all draw on the same credits: the re-run on Website optimization or Listing optimization, 40 credits; Apply changes, 30 credits; the Reddit and X account health re-runs, 15 credits each.
Nothing was taken away. The 300 credits your plan grants per period (600 on the 8-week plan) buy exactly what the old counters gave you, three site audit re-runs plus three Reddit checks plus three X checks plus three edit applications, and now you can put the whole period into one of them instead if that is what you need.
Do my credits reset on a different date if I am on the 8-week plan?#
No. Plan credits are granted in one go at the start of each paid period and expire at its end, on every plan: 300 on the 2-week and 4-week plans, 600 on the 8-week plan. On an 8-week plan the 600 live for the whole 8 weeks, and nothing resets inside the period.
Credits you bought are not on any period. They sit in your account wallet and never expire.
The daily limits, catches and video swipes, are different again: they reset at midnight in your own timezone, every day, on every plan.
Do unused credits roll over?#
Plan credits do not. The credits your plan grants at the start of each paid period, 300 on the 2-week and 4-week plans and 600 on the 8-week plan, expire when that period ends, nothing carries forward, and they belong to the project they arrived with rather than to your account as a whole.
Credits you buy are the opposite. They never expire, they sit in a wallet on your account, and you can spend them in any project with an active subscription. When you spend, the project's plan credits go first and the wallet is used only after those run out, so the ones with a deadline are always used before the ones without.
So use the plan credits rather than saving them, and remember that everything you change before you apply counts as one application: several corrections in a day cost 30 credits, not 90.
